Buffalo Shrimp salad is a delicious and refreshing meal on a hot summer night! Make everyone their own big salad! Shrimp can be replaced with grilled or breaded chicken if you wou'd rather have that. #sonomnom4u #buffaloshrimpsalad
Buffalo Shrimp Salad
1 head of green leaf lettuce
1 bunch green onions
2 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup crumbled bleu or gorgonzola cheese (OPTIONAL)
1/4 cup Litehouse Ranch or Litehouse Blue cheese
1/4 cup ranch croutons (see recipe) or buy packaged
1/4 cup Franks Red Hot + !/4 cup Franks Red Hot
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined and skewered
Heat grill and Dip each shrimp in Franks Red Hot. Place on Skewer. Grill approximately 2 minutes, flip skewer and grill the other side for another 2 minutes. Remove from grill. set aside.
Wash the lettuce, celery and green onions.
Chop the lettuce, slice the celery and green onions. Grate the cheese.
Place lettuce in a large bowl.
Add celery, green onions, cheese, and croutons.
Drizzle ranch over the top
Drizzle Franks Red Hot over the ranch.
Place skewers of grilled shrimp on top and serve immediately.
When the salad is tossed up, the ranch and Red Hot mix to form a delicious dressing!
