2 cups Jasmine or Basmati Rice
2 cups water
(Need more or less? Just use equal parts of rice to water!)
Measure 2 cups of rice and place in mesh metal strainer.
Rinse with cold water for about 5 minutes, making sure to rinse all areas and mix rise as you rinse. Water should run clear.
Place rice in Instant Pot with 2 cups of water. Using MANUAL setting, set time for 4 minutes and make sure the release valve is in center position. When finished cooking, release pressure and unplug instant pot. Let rice cool down a bit so you can easily lift pot without burning yourself!
NOTE: If you want the rice seasoned, add seasoning to the water or use broth instead of water.
Fluff and serve!
