Ingredients (per sandwich):
4 slices of thin sliced deli ham
4 slices sharp cheddar (we used thin sliced)
2 slices sourdough bread
2 TBSP butter
1 dash of Cavenders seasoning
Melt butter in a hot skillet on medium heat. When butter is spread evenly on skillet, dip 1 side of each piece of sourdough bread, so butter distributes into the slice evenly. With buttered side down, layer 2 slices of cheese on the bread, overlapping in the middle a bit if necessary. layer ham evenly over cheese, srinkle with Cavenders seasoning and top with 2 more slices of sharp cheddar, overlapping in the middle if necessary. Top with other piece of bread, butter side facing up.
When the bottom is toasted, smash sandwich with a spatual and then flip, smash again. When the other side is golden brown, remove from heat and serve. FOr simplicity, cut in half first.
