Have you ever had a Snap Turtle? They rock (and ROLO!).
160 square pretzels (like Snyders Snaps)
2 (17.8 oz) bags of Rolos, unwrapped (this allows for some to be eaten, too! )
1 bag halved pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°F
Line a large (16"x12" baking sheet with foil or parchment.
Fill the sheet with square pretzels. Make even rows and leave a little space between rows.
Place an unwrapped Rolo flat side down on top of each pretzel. Do this until all pretzels have a Rolo on top.
Bake Rolos on pretzels for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven. Careful--Pan will be HOT!
Top each hot rolo with either a halved pecan piece or another square pretzel. Press gently from the side of the pretzel but don't press it too far down!
Carefully slide parchment off the hot baking sheet and put it on a cool baking sheet of the same size.
Place Rolos on cool baking sheet in the refriegerator for about 40 minutes. Serve. SO NOM NOM!
